I know the positive effects of yoga and I’ve also know that pushing one’s self doesn’t work when your body is so out of balance.

After suffering for many years with a chronic illness - endometriosis - and trying everything possible to relieve my symptoms, I turned to yoga. I firstly learnt a more physically extreme version, which worked - up until my last surgery. I sustained a back injury in a class a few months following the surgery. I was unable to work, and even dancing at a party would leave me laid out on the floor in extreme pain.

For some reason I didn’t give up. I’d yoga’d my way into it and I knew I could yoga my way out!

I looked for the most traditional teachers who knew the authentic teachings. I completed my yoga teacher training with the world-renowned Mohan family. A.G. and Indra Mohanji are some of Krishnamacharya, the grandfather of modern yoga’s longest standing students. I’ve completed further therapy training with their son Dr Ganesh Mohan. Their teachings have been invaluable to regain my quality of life, through a truly holistic and balanced practice.

I have in-depth knowledge of how traditional yoga techniques can bring about change. I can teach you to be in your body, to feel what you body needs and listen when your body is telling you to stop.

Today I can live an active lifestyle and I am balanced and energised. My yoga practice supports everything else I do in life. With a continual and gentle practice, my chronic stress, fatigue, and hormonal imbalances slipped away.

I will help you discover that yoga is an excellent stress relief practice; that it’s a work in, not a work out. Chronic stress throws the body out of alignment, yoga brings it back in.
